This is a quick writing activity for practice. Please place your responses as a comment. You live in the Gardenview neighbourhood. For several months there have been problems in the community park. The problems are shown in the picture below. Write a notice for the community newspaper describing three to four problems in the park, and explaining what you think should be done. Tell the residents of your community why it is important to make changes in the park.

    Grandview Park Newspaper

    It has come to our attention the damage done by time and users to the setting of our Park: the benches are broken, the swings are damaged and tp top it off there is garbages everywhere.
    The neighbors should take part in, and make part of a Weekend Cleaning Activity or Fundraising to fix the structures broken.
    This is important because is the place for our children to interact.

    I am sorry. The park is too dirty. There is much garbage around the park. The bench and a swing has been broken for several weeks. Another problem is that no person is responsible for cleaning the waste bin.
    I think that we need to clean the park and fix the equipment for children ASAP. It is important for our community to create a better environment.

    This park has following problems such as broken chairs,lack of garbage countainer,... and that you can see in attached picture.

    Why our garden view is messy? Why many thing were damaged? Who is responsible for these problems? As you see in the picture, The garbage bin is full and many garbage are around it. The swing was damages and the bench was broken. We ask all the members of our community to participate in a meeting to manipulate the garden view for spring. We appreciate your participation.
