- It's going to be very cold. Check out the Extreme Cold Warning. Please layer upas you bundle up--wear a fleece inside, thick socks, face mask or neck warmer, and good gloves.
- Please get there earlier, best not later than 9:45 a.m. There will be 2 other groups bigger than ours, and if you don't arrive early, you might get stuck behind them and spend more time waiting in line.
Both those who are taking a paid lesson and those who are enjoying the free lesson have fun learning about the snow and one of Canada's best-known recreational sports!
Don't be late! The activities start at 10 a.m. sharp.
Those starting from Don Mills Station should leave on no later than the 9:25 a.m. subway train.
Those car pooling there should enter "Raoul Wallenberg Rd" into their GPS, and park as indicated on this map.
Make sure to bundle up and bring along a camera, some snacks or snack money (having hot chocolate in front of the fireplace is a real treat), and a great attitude to have fun learning.
